Motivational Bible Verse About Self Confidence

bible verse about self confidence

The Bible has a lot to tell about self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-worth. God bestows self-worth upon us, according to the Bible. It gives us the power and energy we need to live a divine life. Knowing who we are in Christ will help us find our path when we’re looking for guidance. God gives us the self-assurance we need to walk the course He has laid out for us because of this insight. If our faith rises, so does our trust in God. He is still willing to support us. It is our ally, our protector, and our ally. Moving closer to God means having more faith in our convictions.

 Joshua 1:9

Holy Bible

It’s normal to just want to blend in, disappear in the back, and stop drawing attention to one until they don’t feel good enough. God, on the other hand, orders you to be brave and brave! God will be there for you everywhere you go, not because of your own talents or powers. Because of His influence, you will live in peace.

Psalm 27:3

Holy Bible

Can you imagine a situation like this? I’ve never served in the army, so I know how upsetting it is to be the target of hurtful remarks. Words that pierce the heart and suffocate the stuff you most crave – passion, friendship, approval, and comfort.  Your heart doesn’t have to react in terror even though strangers (or but your own thoughts!) are running towards you with arms ready to strike. You should be assured also (and particularly) then. Nothing will overwhelm you because you are a child of God.

Proverbs 3:25-26

I don’t know about you, but I question any decision I make. Was it the smartest choice you could have made? Is it more important to listen to myself or to God? What if my husband dies?  Worrying about the future will not help you avert catastrophe, but believing that the Lord will be on your side, protecting your foot from being flanked, will encourage you to live happily even though you don’t have all of the answers, will allow you to live confidently.

Isaiah 32:17

I don’t know about you, but the words “peace” and “trust” don’t usually go together.  When I think about faith, I see someone who is bold, outspoken, and a little confrontational. But isn’t that the essence of our faith in the Lord? It doesn’t seem to be the kind of self-assurance we equate with the world. It’s brazen, to be sure, but it also offers peace and calm. That makes this peacemaker’s heart feel better.

Isaiah 41:10

Is there a pattern emerging here? Don’t let anxiety paralyse you when faced with tough circumstances.  If you’ve lost your career, are having marital problems, don’t know how you’ll ever lose all the excess weight you’re holding, or any of the hundreds of other factors that can cause us anxiety, “do not panic.”  You’re not supposed to panic any more. You must decide whether or not to accept that God is who He claims to be. He Would make you better. He is going to assist you.
